KCAL Summer Party

OMP was invited to southern California to attend the final summer party for KCAL radio. We partnered up with Homefront Headuarters and some Army recruiters to put on a show of support for our military. We had a greaat time there, but more importantly we were able to get a lot of servicemembers adopted and get some banners signed. KCAL ROCKS!.

Bashas supermarket

On 21 August 2004, OMP was invited to join Bashas Supermarkets in Peoria, AZ. We would like to thank the management of Bashas, as well as all those who stopped by to see us there. We were raising funds and collecting items for Operation Hungry Hearts. The event was an overall success and Bashas and their customers were great.

Armed Forced Day at Rawhide

For Armed Forces Day 2004, OMP was invited to join the celebration at Rawhide Western Town in Scottsdale, AZ. We would like to thank the management of Rawhide, as well as all those whp stopped by to see us there. We were able to raise enough money to send ten more packages out to our deployed service members at this event.

Holiday Preperations

We had a special treat this year while we were packaging some boxes for this year's holidays season. We had the Arizona Republic Newspaper and Channel 12 and 15 News from Phoenix come by and do some stories on OMP! As soon as we can get the stories on here, we will post them for all of you to see as well.

Arrowhead Mall, Phoenix, Arizona

We visited Arrowhead Mall in Peoria, Arizona to have individuals sign banners, cards and letters. We also had pleny of people who were interested in learning more about OMP who stopped by to see what we were all about.

We had penty of give away items for those who stopped by and overall we had a pretty good turn-out. We were able to get enough donations to put together a few care packages and we had a girl scout troop sign up to sponsor some boxes as well.

Operation Yellow Ribbon was definately a success in 2003. You can learn more about OYR here.

Arizona Diamondbacks Plaza

We were able to get some space on the plaza before a Diamondbacks baseball game this fall. We had a lot of people stop by and sign our banners, sign cards and learn about what OMP does. A huge thank you goes out to the Diamondbacks organization for allowing us to be there.

California Baseball league

We took our show on the road in the summer of 2003 and visited a few minor league baseball parks in the summer of 2003. We had great support from all of the fans, as well as seeing a couple of really great baseball games. The fans were fantastic and allowed us to put together a few dozen packages to send overseas.
